The channel normalization located on Jalan Baru, RT 03/06, Pondok Labu Urban Village, Cilandak Sub-district, South Jakarta, completed.

It involves six personnel plus its supporting tools

Cilandak Sub-district Water Resources (SDA) Executing Unit Head, Yansori said river stones were installed in the channel section to strengthen it.

"This normalization is taken up to 120 meters long," he expressed, Monday (9/2).

Besides being widened, it was also aimed to dredge up the mud and waste in the channel.

"It involves six personnel plus its supporting tools," he explained.

He hoped the channel could accommodate water in large quantities to anticipate flooding when it rained.

"He also urged residents always to maintain the facilities that the government has repaired," he uttered.

The work received appreciation from one of the residents, Waluyo (48).

"Thanks for this. Hopefully, other aspirations can also be followed up like this quickly," he stated.
